NCASHA is a Charter Club of the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA). Our mission is to educate people about and to enjoy the American Saddlebred. We have members of all ages with many different interests. Although most of our members live in the greater Bay Area, we have members from Southern California to Oregon.
While many of our members are interested in showing their horses, we have a growing number who enjoy their horses on the trail, as pleasure horses or compete with them in disciplines such as Dressage, Hunter/Jumper, Competitive Trail, Parade, and Driving events. NCASHA welcomes this diversity and wants to encourage those members to become active and help promote and educate people about these wonderful horses.
Not all of our members own horses, everyone is welcome to enjoy the breed and social aspects of the club. Clinics and educational presentations have been offered to help those new to the breed. We offer plenty of opportunities for anyone to get involved.
